How to Detect Lie during Interview?

Lying in interviews is something people find comfortable. They consider it safe and ethical to grab the job. The ratio of lies during interview fluctuates with employees. Some just lie about their relations in the organization, some lie about their salary while some with criminal or doubtful background might indulge in big lies also.
Being an employee, they might find it normal, but for an organization, it might be really risky. It can give entry to a criminal or distrustful person who can later spoil the whole environment. Employment detectives in Delhi help employers find reality of the applicants with their background check services. But hiring a detective does not mean you should not pay attention at all. There are some behavioral patterns, attention to which can help you detect lies during interviews.

Find below 4 ways to detect liars:

1. Ask for details: If you ask a liar about details, you will notice sudden change in their behavior. For instance if someone coins a fake story, on asking about details they will think more deeper than required or they will try to avoid the question.

2. Cross check their answers: A liar won’t remember the answers. So to ensure an applicant is lying during interview, ask the same question again in different way. If there is different answer for the same question, it ensures that the applicant is lying and you don’t have to hire him/her.

3. Frequent mistakes: Stumbling, mispronunciation of certain words and long pauses are some of the signs of lies during interview. Truth doesn't need so much thinking.

4. Deep thinking: Generally it is said that people who lie fidget with things or tap their feet, but it is usually opposite. Liars speak very carefully as they focus on remembering the things. You will notice that they tend to think more to create a fluency in their answers.

If you have doubt on someone in your organization, it is better to take help of professionals to confirm you doubt. Professional investigations in Delhi will help you reach the conclusion with evidences. With the evidences, you can take a corrective action at right time.
